Today launches the start 2018 Crossfit Games, and we are beyond excited to see what kind of waves our boy Tim Paulson is going to make. Before work productivity grinds to a halt, we wanted to extrapolate on what makes him a champion in our eyes.
We've all heard the "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard " quote,
and we've all got a pretty good understanding that in order to make it to the games you've got to have a combination of both.
Tim's got more sweat equity going into this year's games than anyone else we know. It's not just the work with Tim, it's about the balance. It's easy to watch somebody put in the work proclaiming that we have too much other things in our lives preventing us from being at that level. Tim somehow balances the work capacity required to be a games athlete, with being a coach and owner of Crossfit Pallas, and somehow manages to be a kick-ass husband and dog dad. We're not sure how he does it, but we're assuming there's some caffeine involved.

Here's what we love about our dude Tim. He is real.
He is out there notching his way to the top, beating out names that have crowds of fans, outperforming incumbents, but he remains super humble about it.
